Pareve alfredo
Heat olive oil to coat saucepan.
Add sliced garlic. Saute' on medium high until brown. Reduce heat to medium
Add 2-4 tbsp margarine or smart balance or whatever pareve butter substitute you prefer. Melt.
Add coffee rich - about 1 cup. bring to a boil.
Add about 1 tbsp of pareve chicken soup mix. If you have those cubes from Israel - there's one with basil (basilicum) - you could substitute 1-2 cubes if you'd like.
Low boil to reduce sauce and thicken. Add fine flour (like the one they have wondra- for gravies) to thicken and reduce to low.
Add: mushrooms, frozen peas to suit.
Adjust for saltiness desired. Add to fettucine or other noodles. No cheese needed.
