Hi
Did anyone here ever get help through them and can tell me how much they give per kid? Is there any way to still get help from them if they say they are closed for the season?

No way to get help once the application period is over.
I applied the day it opened and I did not get anything.
I applied last year as well and was turned down. I'm not sure how they determine who gets funds, I am very desperate and was not awarded anything.

I applied (last year) and got turned down. Ironically, the next day they called to ask if we can give a donation for their fund 😅.

I didn't even bother this year.

Do they notify you that you were turned down or are you just supposed to assume once you do you not get a check?

Did they send out their checks for this season yet?

Applied too, never heard from them.
You only hear if you were approved.
Ask camp. They get the check. They'll know if they got for other campers.

I received an email from them today saying they could not help us this year. This was our first yr applying.

Hashem has mamy ways to help....

Did anyone's camp say they got checks yet?
Didn't get an email update saying not approved and didn't get answer from camp yet just wanted to know if was confirmed that camps already got checks yet...

I am a secretary in a camp. In the past a few parents got checks sent to their email made out to the camp.
No checks came in from them this year yet.
I am told by people who know the one who runs it that he is a tzaddik.
I don't know the criteria of how they choose.

Looks like you need to apply in person to the Monsey camp fund. So embarrassing ... If I already did an online application do I need to go down ?

Did anyone ever get help from this or the Monsey camp fund? I applied this year and last year and did not hear from them. Camp payments are going on interest free credit card unfortunately we have no way of paying . Am I supposed to be using protektzia to get help?

We've never been approved, despite having multiple health challenges in our family. Someone told me that they have their families who may have been accepted years ago who they continue to help each year, and don't usually have many slots to take any new families.

Is there a contact there that actually responds? I've tried emailing the info@kidsincampfund.com a bajillion times with no response. Is there a number for this office?
Does anyone know when the application opens up this year?
