I'm feeding my kids tonight. They will eat until they refuse food.

No need to cook anything for yomtov, since they already ate.

My succah is still up since last year. Good thing DH never listens to my nagging he should take it down.

The esrog from last year is still in my fridge. Good thing I never listen to my DH nagging I should clean the fridge.

The honey cake is already all eaten. I like to get things off the list. Usually.

I should probably drive to shul with my kids for shofar today because it’s supposed to be rainy on RH. We’ll see about that.

I’m still searching for last year’s lulav.

Check in the biur chometz pile, and you'd better hope the rest of the things in the pile didn't follow the same pattern...

I'm keeping all six yom tov days in one week. So I only need to do erev yom tov preps and clean-up once. As well as all last min preps e.g. salads LOL

This thread is very confusing to me.
We had a Sukkah last year.
Are you all telling me that it's a yearly thing?

You didn't get the memo not to take it down in case it comes again?

I really appreciate all these helpful tips. I don't know how I would have managed to make yom tov without all these useful shortcuts.

I'm pre-drying out a few packs of aravos, I'll do some extra for when you find that lulav.

My boys already had a kiddish with cake and coffee so they won’t be famished when they come home during the break Rosh Hashana.

We made the seuda hamafseikus so we won’t be pressured erev Yom Kipper

I already set the table for YT (and cleared it).

Also, I'm planning to fall on the couch from exhaustion now so that I have more time to take care of YT prep later. It's gonna be a game changer, trust me.

I already had my husband watch the kids for two days straight so that I won’t be annoyed with him being in shul all day.

I defrosted the prepped food and served it for suppers so that I don’t forget to take it out of the freezer before yt.

I had my toddler try on and pre stain all her new outfits to prevent getting upset on such a holy day.
