Yea I get vegemite from Amazon. Trader Joe’s does have crumpets but I was never obsessed with them anyway. But I dream about meat pies and real sausages. Nothing compares.

Trader Joe's has crumpets?? I've never seen near me but I haven't been in a while. Which location do you get them at if you don't mind sharing?

Can your share your meat pie recipe? If it tastes anything like Solomon's I'm sold...

Can you post a link to kosher vegemite? I always wanted to try it.

I'm a long-exiled Brit.
I miss Rakusens digestive biscuits, orange jaffa cakes, real dairy chocolate eclairs fresh from the bakery, iced buns, golden syrup, marmite and humzingers. Do they still make all those products in Blighty?
Cant believe I've been so many years without the above food!

Not British, but have some family there. Was introduced to Jaffa Cakes on a trip as a child and my mother used to buy them. They were a favorite. You could occasionally find them in Israel or in Monsey, but have not seen a kosher version of them in years. Does anyone know where you can find them in the US?

Have you tried weetabix? It's a very close second and my kids love it! It's by a Canadian brand I believe but a frum brand does runs of it with a good hechsher, I think taanug. It's available in most of my local stores. Solo, haha can't say I miss that honestly. Alpha chocolates mmm...my parents bring that when they visit along with haymishe cookies, and Anzac biscuits!!

I'm hungry!!

My old country is the tristate area and my new country is very oot.

I only like heimish brand (mostly oneg) french fried onions.

Greens chocolate loaf id important to me 🙈. Trader joes doesn't cut it.

I also stock up on Elite chocolate powder.

I would bring over more stuff to my new country but they would spoil in the suitcase...

I was going to say this, and maple syrup. But at those prices, we don't eat it, only bake with it

I make my own vanilla extract. Vodka and vanilla beans from the shuk.

I splurged on Arizona and Snapple this week, and was shocked at how sweet they are! The sugar content in American products is so high.

There isn't much I miss, besides Duncan Heinz brownies. I haven't been able to find a good dupe. (I would love recommendations!) And my husband needs the American duck sauce. The consistency on other ones doesn't work as well for sauces.

How would I know if we know each other? We are two anonymous/unnamed people on this vast website.
There are many British expats in USA. In my city alone I know of about 50 frum people from England off the top of my head.
