Do you take them out of the tin immediately after removing them from the oven? Or do you allow them to cool in the muffin tins?
Asking because I always thought you are supposed to take them out right away and put on racks, because they continue cooling in the tins, and the muffins can get dried out. But now I wonder if it's necessary. It's hard to handle them when they are so hot.

I use disposables, so no.
I've at occasion needed to reuse them to finish bakinf the rest of the batter.
I've found that off set knife, butter knife? Works well for helping them slip out.

I let them cool in the pans. I think it's the same like letting a cake cook in the pan, even if you use parchment paper.

I keep them in the pans
Sometimes I take them out right away because I need to put more in, and I don't see a difference in the ones the come out right away and the ones that stay in.
