Any suggestions? I’m in my mid 30s and always had oily skin. Now I still get pimples sometimes, but the cleansers dry out my skin, so I can’t get it nice and soft.
Any suggestions for skincare products/routine and makeup?

I suggest going to a Clinique counter. They will help you find what you need!

I have the same skin and just today I was recommended a really good one by Clinique. Will see how it goes.

What kind of cleanser are you using?
I have similar skin (oily, breakouts occasionally, but get dry easily) and I use Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. I also use the ordinary salicylic acid and niacinamide daily, plus a retinoid and moisturizer at night. I can find links if you are interested.
Cetaphil: Cetaphil Face Wash, Daily Facial Cleanser for Sensitive, Combination to Oily Skin, NEW 16 oz, Fragrance Free,Gentle Foaming, Soap Free, Hypoallergenic https://a.co/d/fZ4lAec
Or Walmart version of it (cheaper option, works just as good) https://www.walmart.com/ip/Equ.....w_wcB
Salicylic acid: https://www.sephora.com/produc.....oduct
Niacinamide: https://www.sephora.com/produc.....oduct
Retinoid: https://www.sephora.com/produc.....oduct
A better more expensive retinol: https://www.sephora.com/produc.....oduct
Moisturizer: Honest Beauty Hydrogel Cream with Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba, + Squalane | Oil Free, Lightweight, Moisturizing | EWG Verified, Vegan + Cruelty Free | 1.7 fl oz https://a.co/d/fqqqPFp

Glycolic acid which is from fruit acids gently exfoliate the skin. Chemical exfoliation would help to declog and resurface the skin. Find an oil-free version

I use the one from the ordinary as well. I don't find it makes a huge difference but I like the product.

I should have been a bit more specific. 10-12% and pH balanced like Alpha Hydrox -inexpensive but effective. Perricone MD, Murad, and a few others are quite efficacious for those concerns

For foundation I'd look into something that's light and natural. Not a full coverage heavy Fondation

Cover Fx makes a healthy and natural treatment-based foundation that is adjustable from light to full coverage. It has aloe to reduce redness and offers a flawless look. While your skin is healing, I would suggest that I everything you apply to your skin furthers the goal of anti-inflammation and recovery. This is why I’m suggesting Cover Fx. I dont know why but it turned my reply into a report of this post and definitely not my intention

I have similar skin and after the cleanser I always put moisturizer. Like that my skin stay soft and without pimples. Without moisturizer you get rid of your pimples, but your skin gets all dried up. I love to use the product of la roche posay. They don’t have too much gunk stuff inside their products.
