It can be online or in person in new york.
Also, please advise any tips for getting into this industry and gaining experience quickly.
Additionally, what are the pros and cons of working in this industry?
Thanks a lot.

Design alive also has a great one.
It’s fully online. They offer courses in interior design, autocad and revit. I would recommend taking all 3 courses.
I know many ppl who took the course and got hired by interior designers straight after.
Good luck!

We looked into a few courses for my daughter and ultimately the interior designers we spoke with recommended NYSID where she is now
NYSID is a regular college but has an online program. It is expensive and very challenging but the designers love hiring their graduates and find they come in with a ton more knowledge. They also teach a lot more of the fundamentals and programs supposedly.
I would say speak to firms and hear where they hire from and at what rate and make the choice from there
