I am taking the kids 12-19 to Florida for a short vacation. Can anyone share activity and trip ideas. My girls would be happy to sit on the beach all day if the weather allows but that’s not fair to the boys. It’s family time so prefer if we do things together. Restaurant suggestions are also appreciated. Thanks so much!

I’ll check out myjewishflorida but would like to hear from people who have done things with teenagers, boys and girls, that worked.
I’ll look into that boat ride too!
Fuego for sure looks like an experience but my boys might be uncomfortable.

Cafe noir is a great restaurant. Near there there is go kart racing. I don’t remember what it’s called.
Pita plus is a delicious Israeli food place.
Shook market is also very good food.
Izzy’s bbq also has a place there that’s really nice & very good food.

You're right, it's not always appropriate for a yeshivish boy. I really like yumberry in Hollywood.
Definitely do some type of boating, whether tubing or banana boating.
Boomers in Boca is pretty fun but not so unique. Same for top golf. Ninja lounge is a pretty fun place for all ages.
Museum of discovery and science is a good science museum. They also have an imax theater and they show educational IMAX movies. You can do just the movie for a little cheaper if you don't want to do the museum.

There is a fun water obstacle course call tiger tails there.
There is biking on the hollywood boardwalk you can rent from a place called the bike shack.
There is also kayaking, snorkeling and paddle boarding.
They just reopened the big slide in aventura mall.

Can someone explain to me why this restaurant would be uncomfortable for boys? It's a restaurant. I've been there. It's crowded with loud music, but that's true of many, many places in south FL.

I think I've been to all restaurants in Florida, & Fuego is unlike any other. It's a party. Girls singing loudly & dancing. Kumzitz with women & men singing together. I can see why a bachur may be uncomfortable there. It's a personal sensitivity.
Maybe you were there on a quieter night. But it's usually a party there, especially during winter break, it's wild.
