Basically I might take my kids to Florida for 2 days. I do not want to drive there. I want to stay in a place that is near food and possibly something to do.
Any good ideas?
I guess the most important thing is to be near kosher food…and a comfortable place to stay.

How do I find a place to stay in surfside?
Hotels or Airbnbs?
I’m not going now. It would be in around 6 weeks but I’m sure it’s still going to be expensive…

We like staying on Collins Ave. close to 41st St.
41st St. has kosher grocery stores, restaurants, bagel store all in working distance
and it's much less expensive than Surfside,
hotels are cheaper, and the restaurants aren't as fancy and expensive,
pizza, sandwiches, chinese places, etc...
Ubers aren't so expensive in Florida, so if we wanted to go to one nice place, we took an uber to somewhere further away.

I’m not really familiar with Florida (was there 2x but not long enough to get to know different areas) so I really appreciate it!
If I go on Airbnb what should I type in?

Restaurants in Surfside are not more expensive then on 41st or other restaurants in Miami. Restaurants in Miami in general are cheaper then in NY/NJ.

There is a really nice Marriott near the Ft. Lauderdale airport that has a beautiful pool. It’s a 5-7 min Uber ride to the restaurants in Hollywood & 15-20 min from the Hollywood boardwalk.
There is also a really nice outdoor mall right near the hotel.
