Hi. I want to dress up my kids with a shabbos theme looking for ideas how to make a wine bottle costume and a challah costume, was thinking something like a challah cover with 2 challos stinking out just not sure how to make it....
Also any ideas for a cheap and simple shalach manos?
Thanks

For wine I would do bartenura (then u can stick the cans into mm)
cork hat
https://www.amazon.com/Bucket-.....=8-19
blue base
print out the 3 labels and stick to the shirt
For the Challah -is it for a girl?
I have an idea for a girl, not for a boy

I did this theme.
For Challah- I made a challah using stockings. The hat was the challah cover
Wine- I made a shirt that looked like a bottle and made a hat that looked like grapes.
MM was grape juice, challah and a cookie that looked like gefilte fish

Ok - so this is what I can come up with for a boy
make a challah out of tan tights tights - dot with glue gun and paint the dots like sesame seeds and poppy
glue/ sew to a shirt
cover in a challah cover
put a crown for the shabbos queen

Except that Purim is on Sunday. I know you can freeze, or just use it during the week, but I wouldnt really want to receive a challah on Sunday.

When I was a kid one of my neighbors was a Kedem wine bottle. It was made out of a dark green fabric , the green went from her head with an opening for her face all the way down. The neck of the bottle ended at her shoulders and widened from there . The bottom of the bottle was round , her mother sewed in a hoola hoop to get it to be round . All across the bodice was the wine label. She wore a gold metallic fabric hat in the shape of a bottle cap.
