Depends on the circles you’re in. In some parts of Lakewood she’d be the only one in day camp/playgroup in pants, in other areas she’d blend right in.

Depends just turned 3 yes some. 3.5 closer to 4 more dresses. Also depending if you are sending her out and where you are sending her.

My kid was only one in shorts 10 yrs ago in a 3yr old group on 2nd and park! She was turning 3, 2 months later..
I am only buying summer dresses for my daughter turning 3 in june (although I'm really not ready for it!)

My daughter is turning 4 in a month. Last Summer she wore shorts and this past winter she work pants but this summer I will only put her in dresses.

When my daughter is that age in the summer If I'm buying anything new I just do dresses but if she has shorts from last year or previous kids that fit her it's totally fine if she wears.

I actually had some skorts for dd last year.
She was 3.5 yrs old.
She felt like she was wearing a skirt, but it had the fit and comfort of shorts.

My dd is turning 3 in March. I was planning on only buying dresses for the summer but now I'm not sure.

What do you put under the dress if they’re still in diapers at this age? Shorts? In winter it’s easy w tights.

I have two girls with March/April birthdays and as soon as the weather was decently warm after they turned 3 we were skirts and dresses only. If I lived in Lakewood id be considered middle of the road not super yeshivish. I would not do shorts at that age and I think pants are too sweaty in the summer.

Took me many years and many girls to come to terms with the fact that in the majority of Lakewood the girls wear skirts etc once they turn 3.
You can definitely do a skort, nobody will know the difference and her diaper will be covered.
But that's really the norm in most areas
