You can try my recipe- cut up carrots, celery, onions, dill, parsley, turnip, parsnip, leek, chicken drumsticks. I put the drumsticks in mesh bags. I also put the dill and parsley in a mesh bag. Then I put it all in a big pot and add some fresh garlic. Then I sprinkle some osem chicken seasoning without msg. Then I fill the pot with water to cover. Then I cook it for 3 1/2 - 4 hours on a medium low flame.
Enjoy

I add a package of organic chicken bones in addition to two dark chicken pieces. Really ups the flavor. Cut up in little pieces leeks, celery, turnip, carrots, sometimes zuchinni. I used to also add a couple of garlic cloves which is delicious but turns out dd is allergic to garlic. If there are other vegetables you like in soup, add those too. (My family hates parsnips but I know they're popular.) When the soup is done, I remove the bones, and take any chicken meat off the bones and return it to the pot. So I end up with a chicken soup with little pieces of veggies and chicken in it. Family LOVES it.

4 extra large parsnips
2 extra large carrots (loose carrots are larger than bagged ones)
1 small/medium turnip
1 bag celery
1 onion
Peel all vegetables and wash. I usually scrub celery with a toothbrush.
I don’t really cut up the vegetables. Sometimes I cut them in half.
Place a package of chicken bones in a net bag and put it on top of the vegetables.
If you like eating chicken from the soup, add a few drumsticks.
3 tablespoons salt
A sprinkle of black pepper
Add water to cover all the vegetables
Bring to boil
Let simmer for a few hours

I have a super easy recipe that everyone loves
3 carrots peeled and chunked
2 green squash
3 sweet potatoes
2 small onions or 1 big onion
1 chicken quarter cleaned ( remove skin and extra fat)
Bay leaves
Salt
Pepper
Once it's done cooking I take the chicken out and remove all the bones and cartilage and replace the chicken meat back in pot. I then warm the soup back up and cook for longer.
