Did you see the post on the correlation between ADHD and sending kids to playgroups before age 3?

I don't work and I felt no pressure to either keep home or send out. Except from my DH! From our first he said that it's important for their social life to go to playgroup. It wasn't worth an argument or ill feelings, even though I disagreed. I sent all my kids to playgroup starting at 2 turning 3, for about 3-4 hours daily.

I wish I could keep my kids home unfortunately I need to work. If you have the privilege to be able to do so I say go for it no one else’s business.

Actually school starts at 5! The 5 year old kindergarten/ pre1A year is the official start of school. Preschool is considered a luxury. That what headstart is all about - to give an advantage to low income families. Granted, some areas have UPK where government says everyone is entitled to free preschool.
That makes it seem kind of ironic not to send but of course we dont get it free, and there are a million reasons not to send to preschool. It wont go on the shidduch resume, if thats what you are worried about!
