Hi all,
I have an extremely picky eater who lives on cereal and some other foods and I was wondering if anyone out there who buys the kosher L’pesach cereal would know which type is the closest to the real thing in taste/color & texture.
Would make the world of a difference to our chag if we can have something like that available
(non-gebrokts and kitniyot free)

Just putting out a word of caution in regards to Pesach Cereals. They can be very hard, as they do not get soft and can pose a choking hazard, Chas V'Shalom. Please be very careful when giving to them to eat to anyone. young children and adults.

The closest are the knityiot ones so maybe discuss this situation with your rabbi. I also have a picky eater and was shocked our rabbi said kitniyot is fine on disposables for DC.

I bought today the liebers 'kariot' equivalent. I forget what they call them. They are kitniyos and gebrokt free.
Come in vanilla, nougat and chocolate flavors.
They are overpriced, but my kids will eat them in milk, and it avoids endless yogurts and matza.

They wouldn’t eat lady fingers
Can you also recommend the kitniyot options that are close to the real thing?
I’m aware that I’ll have to speak to my Rabbi iyh just didn’t have a chance yet and wanted to know if I have any alternatives

They’re really awful unless there’s been a vast improvement and nothing like the real thing.

Therewas one, one year called Refresh.
It was the kariot pillows.
It had lots in the box not like all the other ones and was reallyreally good.
It was gluten free bot esp for pesach.
Have never found it since.

Bingo has one called daganiot. It's similar to kariot and my kids like them. I think they're on sale for 3.49 a box.
Kitniot free

She said they were kitniyot and gebrokts free.
I think she meant free of kitniyot and free of gebrokts.

Let them eat cake!
Maybe make Pesach brownies - to make them more nutritious grate a carrot, apple, zucchini and chopped up nuts if they can have, freeze it into balls when done, semi-defrost it and add it to milk for ' cereal'.
I haven't tried this but it may be ok.
