I’ve heard that for babies who still take bottles, giving one during takeoff and landing helps with the ear popping.

Hit or miss in how much they check everything but its the rule that TSA has...
For us On the way there they barely checked and on the way back they tested each cup and each baby bottle...

That’s for liquid bottles and sippy cups but it specifically says that you can’t bring yogurts that are bigger than 3.4 oz.
I have had TSA let them through anyways but I had one experience where they decided I brought too much and threw out whatever was above their version of reasonable.
