I've seen girls attend the local state university for a degree, while living at home with their parents.

Some girls just suck it up and go to regular old college. I did that.

Baltimore has a frum college program.
Chicago has something as well.
Cleveland doesn't have anything.

The girls I know who dormed there were not yeshivish at all. They were out of towners from very small communities with no social circles for post-seminary girls. This was a few years ago though.

I went to Maalot/WITS in Baltimore. There's no dorm but there are great boarding families in the area. I had a friend there the year before and took her spot, but I think they can give you a list of recommended families. Amazing experience and it has only gotten better in terms of what they offer. Happy to answer questions about it if you want to pm me.

From the small oot city I grew up in, girls go to Lakewood, Brooklyn, sometimes Baltimore. They live in singles apartments.

They get a Job and do school on the side (unless theyre doing an intense degree like nursing, PA).

Depending on how yeshivish and what schooling you're looking for you have Touro and local state schools, maalot. For a more yeshivish degree and often fast: TTI, BTI, Rebb Bulka, sora schnerer.

Also COPE, PCS.....

Most of these you can sign up very close to the start date. You just neeed yo be careful if the program you want has prerequisites.

I rented an apartment with girls and went to Touro Flatbush.
Just be careful she knows who her roommates are. I got a recommendation from someone who went to seminary with roommate. Was awful experience. She had a mood disorder besides being absolutely obnoxious. (Accused me of stealing her stuff when I wasn't even there that day, I was at school...)

In Cleveland the girls do the online frum degrees or some go to live with relatives and do an in person program. Most do the online option though. They have easy school jobs and then spend the rest of their day on schoolwork, and get it done as soon as possible.
