When I was in high school I met someone from Israel whose name was Chasida.

I know a Tani.

A French guy Chalom (he goes by Shalom).

Someone Genesha.

Also Mayor (yes with an O).

Rotem.

Some French spell Shalom as Chalom. Not unusual.

What's are the most uncommon names you know personally? And their meanings if you know

I know:

Girls:
Itael (G-d is with her)
Adili (jewel for me)
Adiya (jewel of G-d)
Tifara (like Tiferet)
Kreincha (it's Yiddish and I don't know what it means)

Boys:
Ptachya (G-d opened, it is in Tanach)
Aner (appears somewhere in Tanach)
Asif (like the harvest)

kreincha was probably a hungarian nickname for kreindel. they always added ch at the end of everything. similar to sarala, chayala, rifkala etc like we do nowadays. in hungary is was chanchu, (chana), leitchu (leah) etc.

another option it may be krantza. my great grandmothers name. it means crown. like atara but I’m assuming in yiddish
