Cut her nap by 30 min and do bedtime at 730. Sleep needs decrease over time!

I also have an okay to wake clock for my toddlers. They know they can't come out until it turns green at 7. They can read, play whatever in their room.

Wow that’s a long nap. My 2.5 year old naps for 2 hours and I’m going to start cutting it down to 1.5 because he’s so awake at bedtime.

My 2 year old also used to nap 3 hours, but we put her to bed around 8, not 7. That’s early for such a nap. Now that she’s 3 and doesn’t nap, we put her to bed 7

It's a clear sign that's it's time to cut nap time. Three hours is long for a two year old.

She was sleeping 12 hours at night, 3 hours by nap? That's a TON of sleep! Definitely cut nap to 1.5 hours and you should be fine for nights.

That's a very long nap. You either need to cut her nap short or put her to sleep for the night not before 8:30.
What time does she wake from her nap?

My just turned 2 yo goes to bed around 8 (doesn't fall asleep then), wakes up pretty predictably at 7, and takes a nap in the middle of the day between 1.5-1.75 hours if that helps serve as a guide. (He also still nurses during the night if that counts against his sleep quota, I'm not sure)

OP, 3 hours is WAY too long to nap for a 2 year old and then expect her to sleep for 12 hours at night. Wake her after 1-2 hours.

A 2 year old should not be getting more than 12-13 hours of sleep total so it makes sense that she's waking up at 5. You can cut the nap time or make bedtime later and hope for 8:30-6:30 at night.

Bedtime should be around 6 hours after wake-up from the nap.
But, if she naps 3 hours, she doesn't need 12 hours of sleep at night & will most likely continue waking early. You don't necessarily have to cut her nap time, but with a 3 hour nap, she doesn't need more than 10 hours sleep at night.

We just changed the clocks a few weeks ago, the sun comes up early. Get room darkening shades, they can really help.

Also, try increasing the temperature in her room by just a little bit, it can also help.
