Real question: what do I put a 2.5 - 3 year old girl in when it’s not shabbos?

I don’t care about brands and I keep as cheap as possible but I want her to have the “frum” look. (Lol I know this has been an explosive issue the past few days here! I’m a clueless geirus ok, I care about fitting in!)

Does she wear pants?
Skirts?
Dresses?

I would do mostly dresses and skirts and tops but they should be above the knee. (personal opinion)

Depends where you live. Some places do skirts at that age, but most do a t shirt and leggings

I don't think skirts. Short dresses or tops and leggings depending on how tall she is.

My just turned 3 year old has long hair, is tall, and can easily pass for 4 or 5
I am only getting dresses for her for this summer, but they're all above the knee and sleeveless or short sleeve
She has an adorable belly, so I stay away from skirts and stick to jumpers and dresses, with shorts underneath if needed. She looks much neater that way vs skirts

H and m has a line of $5 dresses, I got her a few of those

They ride long and wide, so size down

Target's cat and jack line has some as well

I’m doing shorts and tee shirts with some fun short dresses thrown in for my daughter that age.
Target, H and M, Old Navy have a great selection of affordable things.

ETA where do you live? As you see here the skirts/dresses vs pants thing is community dependent.

I'm in boro park and unless she's tiny and looks very babyish, I would do short dresses with short sleeves. Make sure they're not longer than an inch above her knee at max. No strappy sleeveless. Put a shell under. Tiny white socks, no frills, white casual sneakers. Very cute look.
Go into local stores and get a feel for the styles. Tottini, lulu are good places to start. If u want to spend a lil more try junee. Still reasonable. And onceu get a feel for the style, u can check out old navy, hm, target...

She is petite but has long hair. Doesn’t look like a baby.

Not in Lakewood but… kind of Lakewood-ish
