My son wore this all last summer plus half the winter, in a brown/beige/luggage color, until he outgrew it . Got it again in navy now. True to size. Even threw it in the wash couple of times.
He's turning 5. He's wearing a 9.

In my experience the soles of these type of shoes from Next break after a few months - except the Adidas ones - we got black and white adidas sneakers and they're great.

My active little boy wore these for the entire school year and they've got hardly any wear and tear. They look like they'll take him through the summer if he doesn't outgrow them first.
