I did look through some threads for ideas, and got some, but looking for better/more suitable ideas...
- coming from Cleveland
- driving trip only
- total about three days
- needs to be near minyanim
- prefer kosher food but not a must (don't keep c'y)
- we like outdoors better than museums
- my kids never been to amusement park, but at the same time they are afraid of most kinds of rides... Not daredevils!
- something maybe new and different for them, which I understand you wouldn't really know ;-)
- kids ages 4-15 (plus baby in stroller or baby carrier)
- prefer Airbnb to stay in over hotel. Unless it's a large suite.
- we are a family of 9 kh.

Thank you!

Maybe Pittsburgh--lots to do, not too far, kosher food and minyan (though not sure you'll be able to find an AirBnB super close to minyan).

Thank you! We were there within the past couple years though.

We've been to Pittsburgh area, Indiana dunes, Columbus/Cincinnati and Niagara.

Louisville could work. They have a daily minyan and lots of great family-friendly activities - Mammoth Cave NP, Louisville Slugger bat factory, Churchill Downs and Kentucky Horse Farms, and some other great state parks if you want more hiking. It's only about 5 hours from Cleveland.

Thanks! I actually went there with my husband last year - it was fun!
Not sure about going back though so fast...

We did a really fun family road trip to New Hampshire last summer. Lots of nature for those who like it and I took the younger kids to Storyland while DH took the older ones on a more major hike. There was a cute little aquarium next door to Storyland that didn't have much to look at but had touch tanks that my kids absolutely loved. We brought most of our own food with us, but there is a chassidish store that sells some prepared food somewhere around Lincoln if I remember correctly.
