I made cheese Babkah for the first time.
Can I keep it on the counter in a cake dome or does it need to be in the fridge?

I would keep it in freezer. Cake textures can ruin if refrigerated and cheese can’t stay out

My mother always leaves baked cheese babka out for up to a week. Then it's really soggy and not great tasting anymore.

Either well sealed on the counter, or in the freezer. Cake doesn't belong in the refrigerator.
