Sure it can cause s-xual arousal, and it does enhance attraction for many (most?) people. I meant the ISSUR is not dependent on s-xual arousal. That it is forbidden for a man to smell a woman's perfume whether or not he gets all turned on by it or not.

while it was 4 am her time I was relieved she hadn't forgotten her english ... my only french class consisted of french 2 for about 3 days till I convinced the principal I cannot sit in that class w/o french 1 ... pero yo hablar un poquito espanol Wink

Since we don't wear perfume while being a niddah, I feel uncomfortable making such a loud announcement of my status with DH on that particular day. (We keep all harchokos in public - ) What I do though is on non niddah days, I wear my perfume's deodorant - same nice smell - much less strong - just a nice feeling and reminder between DH and myself that it's "on time".

Why is wearing or not wearing perfume a loud announcement of your status?

How much deodorant do you put on that your husband can smell it?
