Yes, Tal is shvi'I shel Pesach. Tal, Talya, Avital, Tali. (Although I know many little girls here born around 7 Cheshvan with those names too.) |
My sons name is Tal and he was born in Cheshvan, but the end. Wasn't done purposely, just what we chose. |
DS#2 was born 8 Cheshvan. Of the all the baby girls who were named that Shabbat, 4 were Tal, 2 were Talya, and another one was Tali.
It was for sure intentional, at least for a few of them (I knew the families "through the grapevine"). On 7 Cheshvan we start saying "v'ten tal u'matar livracha" in shmoneh esreh.

Ashira ,
Shulamit (from Shir hashirim)
Nitza (for Spring) and a girl version of Nissan)
there is all the joy- praise names for Yom tov and hallel: Rina, Hallel, Hodaya, Tehilla
also all the flower names from Shir hashirim and/ for Spring go through the list.
