This cake tasted more like a cheese pecan pie than a caramel cheesecake. It was really rich and delicious, but only if you go for pecans.

I made this today (I was asked to make 3 cheesecakes for granddaughters bas mitzvah).
I made it in a 10" springform. I drizzled some of the chocolate mixture on top with a lot of caramel topping and then put pecan halves around the rim. It looks really impressive. I think next time, I'd also drizzle some caramel topping on top of the melted chocolate layer to give it more of a caramel taste.
