neemaneema: Yes, in fact, they only have tours during chol hamoed Sukkot/Pesach and I think also during the end of August.

You need to book a tour in advance, esp if you are picky about language (Hebrew/Eng). The details should be in the link. They are very good about getting back to people re: bookings.

Neot Kedumim is definitely worth a visit - plenty of activities and if you have anyone with you who can't manage the walking there is also a little train that can take you around the park

We are going to travel East, bli neder, into the Shomron. Less traffic, great scenery better weather and we can support whatever the local enterprises have to offer us. Also, close to home :-) for example http://www.tourshomron.org.il/

We went to the israel museum yesterday and had a blast. They have fun model sukkah building activities for kids, and they have a fascinating exhibition about chassidut.
