I'll say something that's I've seen "accepted" in several communities that is against Halacha - hugging and kissing between relatives that is 100% forbidden, DIL kissing FIL, uncle kissing niece, etc. I sometimes wonder if people don't know the Halacha? Or they just don't care?

The whole sheitel cult, from the way it looks (so much everyone the same within one group) to the fact that they cost $2000? $3000? $5000? who offers more?
ETA: this also includes spitzels and everything with something that looks like hair. In this context, spitzels or sheitels with hats on them are even more grotesque.

In certain communities, men and women aren't shomer & it's acceptable to hug/kiss the opposite gender.

I think she means that it's acceptable but not necessarily permitted by halacha.

Teaching minhag and chumra as Halacha. Looking down on those who don’t keep Halacha the way you do. Maligning entire segments of society because they do something differently than you do. Adult women calling other adult women names.
