the easiest one I know of is:

1 C. confectioner's sugar
1 C. margarine
1/4 C. hot water (not sure if that's the right amount?)

put into blender, then pour.

yes you can. I usually 2 parts chocolate to one part soy milk (I.e. 1 cup chocolate and 1/2 cup soy milk) and melt it in the stove. Wait for it to cool and thicken before pouring though so it doesn't just run off the cake.

yes I was referring to pareve and choc chips are fine. I don't know about soy milk but it looks like hooryou answered that.

whoops, I left out the cocoa! I think it was 1/2 c. but then it probably would be more water. I sud to add the water slowly until it reached the right consistency.
sorry, I'm being so inaccurate - I really should have looked it up - it's been eons since I've made frosting.
