I wash them by hand (cocheted snoods w/ lining)

I just swish them out in the sink and dry them on a rack. Cotton ones I just throw in the washing machine.

I wash mine in the mashine and even put them in the dryer. they still look good after a few years.

Put them into a mesh bad and wash on a gentle cycle.

Also turn it inside out before putting into the mesh bag. Will come out like new.

The poly ones get washed inside out with bras in a separate load, in a mesh bag, with soap from the lingerie store (Forever New, iirc) then hung to dry.
The tee shirt ones get washed inside out, in a mesh bag, with my work clothes, in cold on gentle then hung to dry.
I don't wash them that often.
