Does anyone know the bracha on malawach? Mezonot, hamotzi or machloket?
(Malawach is a yemenite pancake/bread)

We usually say mezonot on jachnoon (eaten as a part of berachot before kiddush/motzi).
Do you make a meal out of it?

we say mezonos but I just assumed that's what you say. According to the brachos sefer when eating pancakes if its deep fried its never hamotzie but if its fried w/ no/almost no oil and you eat enough to be kovea seuda then you would make hamotzie now if its a medium amount of oil (regular pan frying) its a safek so one should wash on some bread as well (if eating enough to be kovea seudah) now I don't know if malowach has the same halachos of pancakes. anyways I doubt anyone would eat enough to be kovea seuda (eight kezaisim!) way too much oil!
