I am looking to go to a swimming pool to attend in Brooklyn in the summer months when I am off from my teaching job. I'd prefer some place in Flatbush, but I am open to travelling to any safe area of Brooklyn. Any suggestions?

thenewhes.com its the h.e.s. in canarsie, seaview and 51st if im not mistaken, really close to flatbush. they have separate hours for woman and men, and co-swimming as well. its 15 dollars a guest pass or about 300 yearly fee. I go there and I love it.

hes is on seaview and e. 92nd! my kid goes there for daycare...

it's not exactly close to flatbush, but depending on where you live it might not be too bad.

another option is the kings bay y in sheepshead bay (nostrand bet v and w.) same type of swimming schedule as hes.
