City mini for a newborn?

Has anyone just purchased the city mini and used it from the beginning?

I do not really want to purcahse two strollers (one snap and go with a bassinet and the city mini) = so would like to know if its been done before ---

if not, is there a good stroller that you are happy with, that can act as both?

There is another thread on this topic right now. Do a search for city mini and you will find it.

Basically, I never used a stroller with a bassinet for any of my babies and they are all fine, B"H. Your parents probably didn't either.
