I am having a bunch of friends over next week and I'm planning on doing burgers, sausages, etc (a kind of barbeque without the outdoors element!)

I need some ideas for canapes that I can leave on the table for people to munch on while I grill all the meat....any ideas?

little rounds of toasted bread with various toppings?
borekas, mini quiches (you can make pareve versions)
salads
