Does anyone have a good pudding recipe that just as good or better than tnuva's pudding? I tried making pudding from the Osem packs and followed the instructions on the box and I did not like it it was too heavy. I want to copy the Tnuva pudding. Anyone any suggestions? TIA

I just made this. We will know later how it tastes, but it look rich and creamy.

Vanilla Pudding

1/2 cup sugar
2 T. cornstarch
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups soy milk
1 tsp PURE vanilla extract.

In a small saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Slowly whisk in soy milk (over medium heat) make sure there are no lumps. Continue whisking until it reaches a boil. Lower heat to simmer. Simmer 5 minutes, until thick and creamy. Remove from heat, mix in vanilla extract. Spoon into dessert bowls. Chill until set.
4 servings

I am going to layer this in dessert glasses with berries.

Does this recipe need to be made with soymilk?
Or are you serving fleishik for supper?

the recipe happens to call for soy milk and dh is lactose intolerant. I see no reason milk won't work well in this recipe.

Ok, very so so. I found the taste cloyingly sweet. Dh liked it more. It was a bit thicker than I would have liked. I mixed it up again so that helped. I mix some with berries, that was much better.

I think with milk this would be a lot better.
