Anyone know a hebrew equivalent for this? Wouldn't think of calling a dd "chamuda." I need something more traditional.

An equivalent would have the same meaning anyway. There's nothing wrong with Zissel. Oh, and it is VERY traditional. Much more than a translation or stuff...
You could always use Metuka, traditional in some Sefardi circles. Or Dolce/Dolsa/Toltze (all Jewish and traditional).

Oh, I don't mind the name Zeesil so much, but it is horrific with our surname!
Metuka would not work in our circles, have not heard of the others that Ruchel suggested.

Zeesy (or ZC) is an adorable nickname!
[I used to have the cutest 3 year old neighbor with that nickname!]

No, I really wouldn't want to use Zissa or Zeesy either. Again, nothing against those names, they are pretty cute, just don't go well with our surname.
Naomi/Naama is nice- those mean the same as Zeesil?
