does anyone know if a box -25 1/2 inch by 48 inch height 8 foot 5 would be allowed on a plane as a piece of luggage. I just posted another topic to get a box here with a lift but maybe this way is possible as well.
I just edited the size. I guess its too big

If it's a single box you might want to find out if ElAl will carry it (cargo).

usually the requirements r 62 inches. standard.. wen I travel we pack in boxes

That's why I said ElAl CARGO. Requirements are different.

You have to check it out by the airlines. We have used the second to biggest UHaul boxes twice, 2 diffferent airlines, as luggage with great success.
