Ok, so b'shaa tova I am expecting my first and due in November. I am starting to look into all the baby gear that one needs and it is getting quite overwhelming..so many choices...Was wondering if you can help out by recommending the best stroller and car seats and y u like them...I need a stroller that folds easily cuz I have to drive everywhere to the stores and will be shlepping the baby in and out of the car.
thanks so much

I think in your situation that you might want to look into the carseats that will pop out and become a carrier, that you can place easily in shopping carts, or a carseat that pops into a stroller. I always find that graco does a great job with these things.

I'd go for the Snugride (not 32 which is the Safeseat) since the Safeseat is a heavier seat, and you won't be able to use it as a carrier to the maximum weight because it's just too heavy!
Are you planning on using your stroller for shopping? Or putting the carseat in a shopping cart? If the former, you need a decent basket.

And are not so practical to keep folding and unfolding and shlepping in and out of the car.
Why don't you start with a snap n go and get a stroller later on?

I'll post here, (what the heck, why not) for my favorite stroller, the BOB Revolution, which is a jogging stroller (of excellent quality) and you can purchase a car seat attachment bar which fits the snugride, (which is what we used for our first.) My only comment is that although the car seat fits on safely it may seem loose and may need to be propped up more to give the baby a better angle. It has wonderful shocks, smooth riding, easy handling (like one-finger easy!) big all-terrain wheels and we love it!
