The first one isn't a full swivel wheel either, I believe the wheel turns slightly, just a few degrees, not even a full 180°. You might wanna read reviews about that one online.
As for the second one, it has already been removed.

the front wheel doesn't swivel
also, when it says dimensions and gives A x B x C. Which is depth, which is height and which is width? I have a stroller and I know it fits through standard doors with just a drop of extra space and the dimensions are 44.2 x 16.0 x 10.5. SO which number is the width??

It DOES swivel:
Option: Flip the switch and the front wheel can swivel or be stationary.

44.2 is the height in yours, I believe, but 16" is very small for width -- most double strollers are like 27" (this is 32" so I guess it's too big for you.)

I was talking about the strolle rin your second link. It has a plastic piece over the wheel so there is no way that it swivels (right? )
in terms of width, what about this one? Am I right that it's 15 in wide?

This one looks like a very decent option, it is 28" wide and I think that's pretty standard for a double jogging stroller. Measure your door and see how it is, but the features and price seems to match your criteria.

It says a safety feature is a wheel swivel lock which I take to mean it can lock or not.

I don't believe the instep reclines fully for a newborn. There are MANY on ebay, but I thought you davka didn't want it.

Ok I jsut read through 44 reviews and it seems that it does recline fully and it can barely fit through standard doors if manuevered back and forth. The concensus con seems to be the sun shades but that is certainly not on the top of my list of requirements. So, should I go ahead with it...? So scared...

The Schwinn seems to have slightly smaller dimensions if you can believe what it says as well as being a lb lighter. I think that's what my sister in law has...I've seen it for cheaper though. Try searching for the Schwinn double on ebay, amazon, etc just to see what is the best price
