Here's a b'reishis song I just wrote

And I'm sharing it with all of you! Please feel free to use, and if you have any suggested changes to improve it, I'd love to read them.

It's to the tune of "V'samachta" -- the chassidish/Chabad one with the "ay yi yi" part in it.

I wanted something less wordy than most of the options out there. You can have the kids hold their hands out for "What did H" make", and hold up the right number of fingers for each day. You can either teach them then words to the answers, or teach them the question, and then you do the answers, depending on their ages and abilities.

Y'hi or, let there be light

Shamayim and mayim, you got it right.

Land and water, and the plants that grow

Sun, moon, stars; their light did glow.
