I have a pickled dekel roast. What do I do with it and how do I cook it? Is it like corned beef?

I think that if it is pickled, it wil be corned beef. I have agreat recipe that I got from a collegue way back in l980 when I was working in the South Bronx. I still use it!
You boil the beef in a large pot for 3 hours, changing the water every 45 minutes.
Marinate overnight in one bottle of gingerale with whole peppercorns sprinkled on top.
Spill off the marinade in the morning, glaze with brown sugar and pineapple juice, and decorate with sliced pineapple (I leave most of the peppercorns on)
Bake for about 45 minutes, covered.
Cool and slice.
