for those of you who are makpid not to eat both kitnios and gebroks: suppose you had to give a child one of the two (ex. either rice cereal or matza in milk), which would you give, and why?

AFAIK, according to Chabad rabbonim, kitnios is preferable to gebrokts.

AFAIK, milk may not be considered gebrokts. It's really only water, although we are usually machmir.

since the machinery is cleaned with water, it probably has some water in it. (that's why I didn't say juice).
