I have a braun which I am happy with. Try and get the one with a metal bottom half which seperates from the top part.

definitely the Braun raisin recommends. I have other brands for milchig & they eventually die, my fleishig braun just keeps going

I don't know about the best. I buy most everything at a discount store that's convenient to me.

I also love our Brauns. We have one for Dairy and one Parve and I use them both all the time.

I also love my 2 Braun's. But recently they became sooo expensive.
So if I had to buy another one right now, I could but a Cuisinart.

I think I could only find the braun I wanted with lots of extra bits and peices - a mini food chopper, a blender jug and so on. So thats why it was more expensive.

I think the brauns must have been discontinued? I only can find 220v or one for $400.00

That's probably why I can't find anything under $80.
The Cuisinart's are really great too.

yes, Braun discontinued their line of american wattage kitchen appliances.
That was the best. I have 2 of theirs, and I'm really happy with them.
I went thru 2 Osters for Pareve. I am NOT Happy with them. I now have Cuisinart and am happy with it.
