has anyone ever cooked tuna steaks in a george foreman grill? does it dry them out too much? I'd love a good recipe please!

I don't have george foreman gril but often cooks tuna steaks under broiler/grill. The trick is not to overcook it--the inside should be still pinkish. Thicker pieces work better. Also I marinade to give more flavour and moisture. I use teriyaki (any store bought, or mix orange juice/soya sauce with bits of sesame oil). You may also want to brush oil (regular or toasted sesame) as tuna is a very lean fish.

There's a great seared tuna recipe in Kosher by Design-Short on Time. I made it second night of Rosh Hashana and it was a huge hit. But I wouldnt make it in a George Forman because I think it would probably dry it out. You're only searing it for about 2 min per side and it's easier to watch it in a pan I think.
