Can latkes be frozen, either the batter, or the fried ones? Is the consistency good when thawed?

I constanly freeze my cheese latkes & I either warm them up in the oven or re-fry them & they always taste good.

Here's the tip from Tamar Ansh from last week's Hamodia magazine:
"I have learned that you can even make your latkes in advance. Make a bunch, line them up standing upright (on edge) in lined loaf pans, as many as it takes, and freeze them, tightly covered. When you need them, defrost, heat your oven, and spray them with baking oil spray. Reheat them uncovered until they are crispy again. Should turn out just great!"
