my baby woke up this morning and he is hoarse. he is not showing any signs of being sick

It might be a slight allergic reaction to a new food. Some baby's get hoarse from a cold. Hoarseness can also be from wheezing and congestion.

If I were you I'd call the dr's office and see what they think.
