Does anyone have a recipe for corn dogs? I'm craving them so badly! (Can you tell I miss Sub-satonal in Bklyn, I live out of town and want to make them).

I've made this recipe before and they came out great. If you don't deep fry them, make sure to do it in a nonstick pan with a lot of oil.
Batter:
1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup soymilk (I used water, but I think the soymilk would be better)
1 egg
2 T sugar
1 T baking powder
salt, pepper, paprika
Mix all ingredients for batter together, seasoning to taste. Cut hot dogs in half width-wise, dust with flour, tap to remove excess, and skewer in cut end with a toothpick. Pour batter into a drinking glass or mug, and dip corn dogs to coat. Deep-fry in hot oil until browned, being sure not to crowd the dogs while frying.
