Hey -
I need help. I almost always cook chicken breasts. This week, I'm making honey dijon chicken bottoms. How long and for what temp. do I cook them so that they fall off the bone? Basically, I'm opening bottles and pouring them over the chicken. Should I drown them or baste the sauce?

TIA

would cook them at 350, tightly covered with foil for about an hour and a half.

I cook it for an hour and a half uncovered. You could also cook it covered halfway through and uncovered for the rest. It really depends on the sauce. Same with basting; depending on the sauce, you can baste but I hardly ever do. I keep the skin on though.

In general, I bake chicken bottoms at 375, uncovered, for 1.5 hours.
But if it's has a sauce that might burn (like honey) I bake it for an hour uncovered, and then see if it needs more time. If it does, but the top looks like it will burn if I continue baking it uncovered at that point, I cover it for the last half hour.
If it's an olive oil and herb recipe, I will usually bake for 1 hour at 425.
