yeah, this is news to me. since WHEN is MLK day a federal holiday?? I thought it was on par with... like Columbus Day, and such.

It BECAME a Federal holiday in the past few years. The banks that had the option to close, all close. The markets are closed. Post office. Etc.
If we really close, I'm going to the gym and take Zumba, which I've always wanted to try, then do some weights and then out to lunch with DH ! (We have a gift card.)

yup, board of ed is closed... so no yeshiva kids are getting therapy on monday, even though school is open :-)

I'm working. But my kids are off. So it's a rather expensive day for me as I have to get a babysitter. 
But this new job that I'm working at (been there since August) does get off for President's day (when my kids are ALSO off of school), so WOOHOO! I'm so looking forward to taking a day off with them - I love getting more time with them. We're planning on going to an arts festival.

I'm off!!!! And my kids all have school!!!!! I love these days! I plan to cook the whole day and stuff the freezer!!!! I think I do have a doctors appointment with my baby though.
