Hungarian Beef Strew (cholent)
from America's Test Kitchen

cholent meat - I used about a lb
paprika - I used about a cap full
jar roasted peppers - I used the whole thing, rinsed and drained (I assume you could roast fresh red peppers if you didn't have the jarred available)
small jar amount tomato paste, optional
1 T vinegar
oil
4-6 onions
carrots
4 - 6 potatoes
black pepper

You brown your onions in a flat bottomed saucepan and add the meat. While that cooks, you grind the peppers, tomato paste, and vinegar in your food processor, then add to the pan, with your pepper. Add your cut up carrots and potatoes and let cook.

Serve hot on Shabbos day. Mmmmm
