YUM! Are you willing to share with me?
Make spinach walnut pesto. (Recipe uses 2 cups of spinach.)
And spinach portobello mushroom salad. (Recipe uses 10 oz. of spinach.)
Both of these dishes are delicious.

I would LOVE to SHARE with you!
The bag is so big It makes me nervous!
--And it was only $3.99!
Some sort of special
I actually wanted more of a vegetable side dish like sauteed spinach and ___. Or wilted spinach... something where it comes to the table this gorgous deep green color.
Any ideas??!

I don't have a side dish recipe.
The salad I mentioned shows the beautiful green spinach leaves.
I do have a wilted spinach with pine nuts recipe somewhere. If you'd like I can post it for you.

the easiest yummiest thing:
saute garlic cloves sliced in olive oil till soft NOT brown. add washed spinach leaves and kosher salt. keep stirring/mixing until leaves look wilted.
your tremendous bag will suddenly look like there is only enough for 1 person.
it is delicious whenever I find fresh checked spinach this is what I do.

Okey dokey this is what I finally did:
In a tiny drop of oil I sauteed the crushed garlic, some hot pepper flakes and sliced mushrooms.
I added onion powder, granulated garlic and then finally the garlic.
Whoever said that HUGE bag would vanish was right on the money! Half the bag wilted filled 1/2 a 9X13 glass pyrex... It tastes great!
